Stream.Me Signs "Perfect Legend" As First Sponsored Player!

The Stream.Me team is happy to announce that we’ve signed Perfect Legend as our first sponsored player from the fighting game community!

The company has made huge strides in the world of esports since its inception, including the creation of a new broadcasting service for gamers of all varieties. The service continues to see improvements while juggling online tournaments for fighting games such as Mortal Kombat XL and Killer Instinct. With fighting games on the rise this year, we’ve felt now was a good time to take the next big step.

Carl “Perfect Legend” White’s history as a player speaks volumes. He’s one of very few players able to boast of winning multiple EVO championships across multiple games. In his case, he’s won Dead or Alive and Mortal Kombat 9 at EVO 2011, and he would proceed to defend his throne in MK9 the next year. While he’s had yet to return to a finals at the World Stage since then, he’s been a regular sighting in Top 8s for numerous events across multiple regions of the U.S.A. and even other continents such as Australia.

It’s been a good amount of time since Perfect Legend’s been part of a team. Given his tireless commitment to the fighting game community, we are pleased for the opportunity to work with him. This year, he plans to dive into Street Fighter V Season 2 and Injustice 2 (the latter is set to release on May 16, 2017). Given that both his main hitters – Akuma and Batman – have abilities involving double jumps and divekicks, his taste in characters is pretty clear. However, Carl is more than willing to learn an armada of characters in order to improvise for uphill match-ups.

We’d like to point out that Carl has been streaming gameplay on Tekken Tag 2 recently, which suggests that he may also take an interest in Tekken 7 when it drops this June. Speaking of streaming, he plans to stream from his Stream.Me channel at least four hours a day, perhaps more! So follow him to witness the gameplay of a legend!
