Compete in a $5,000 #Fortnite Fall Faceoff from November 24 to December 16!
StreamMe is more than pleased to announce their latest tournament for Fortnite competitors called the Fortnite Fall Faceoff!
Starting tomorrow at 1 P.M. Eastern Time, Fortnite competitors can drop into the arena and participate in a variety of Solos matches with the goal of climbing the leaderboards. The more eliminations a competitor earns, the more points they gain. You’ll want to partake in as many matches as possible to propel yourself to the top of the leaderboards and, hopefully, stay there.
There is no limit to how many sessions you can participate in, but bear in mind that only your top twenty sessions will count towards your final score throughout the Faceoff. Fun fact: if all twenty of your games had five eliminations each, you will be awarded one-hundred points.
The event will last for around three weeks in total.. While it starts tomorrow, players are more than welcome to jump into the fray until its conclusion on December 16, 2018. Sign-ups will be accepted via www.smash.gg/5000-fortnite-fall-face-off.
Why should you compete? Because a $5,000 prize pool will be split between the top four competitors from the Fortnite Fall Faceoff as follows:
1st Place: $2,500
2nd Place: $1,250
3rd Place: $750
4th Place: $500
It is highly important to note that in order for your eliminations to count towards your score, StreamMe must be able to confirm your achievements. That is why it is mandatory for all participants to live-stream their matches via our platform throughout the entirety of the event. Next, below is a list of steps to follow when confirming your scores:
Log in to your SmashGG account.
Visit the event page for the Fortnite Fall Faceoff (again, linked here).
Under where it says “Your Tasks,” you will see a blue tab saying “Start Session.” Click it.
In the resulting menu, the option to “Submit results” should be visible, and next to it will be a button saying “Your Tasks.” Click “Your Tasks” to proceed.
On the next tab, enter your answers to the listed criteria and click “Submit Results.” The criteria should be “VOD link of your current session,” “Start Time,” “End Time,” and “Kills Earned.”
All pending sessions must be verified by an administrator, but you do not need to wait for said verification before beginning another match. You may continue playing until you are verified.
7. There is no limit to however many sessions you may submit, but bear in mind that only your twenty best sessions will be considered towards your final score.
Answers to further questions may be found in our help center article.
Any gameplay sessions that you do not live-stream to StreamMe will not count towards your score, so once again, consider creating your account and visiting our FAQ to get started.
Usage of our service is completely free to all users, as is the ability to download Fortnite onto your console or PC of choice. If you don’t have your copy of Fortnite, scoop it up today and join us in the arena!
Good luck to all of our players tomorrow!
