.@DreamHack (#DHDAL19) comes to Dallas TX on May 31 - June 2, 2019!

DreamHack, the global events and production company bringing its digital festivals to trademark locations around the planet, is making a grand return to Texas in 2019.

In June 2018, the event was celebrated in Austin TX at the Austin Convention Center. Gaming enthusiasts were treated to first-hand looks at the competitive aspect of many popular esports titles, such as Rainbow Six Siege, PubG, Street Fighter, Smash Bros, and so on. In fact, as far as the FGC and Smash titles were concerned, almost 1,600 entrants were a part of the festivities in Austin.

For next year, however, the company is not headed back to Austin to celebrate DreamHack. Instead, it will take place in Dallas, specifically at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center, from May 31st to June 2nd.

Dubbed DreamHack Dallas 2019, the latest addition to the DreamHack family will combine the best of esports with an outstanding premier event known as CORSAIR DreamHack Masters, which will feature the best of Counter-Strike Global Offensive esports as sixteen world-class teams will battle it out inside a large-scale arena with $250,000 on the line.

CORSAIR will run for the entirety of a three-day weekend. The quarter-finals will occupy all of Day 1; then semi-finals on Day 2; and the Grand Final will unfold on Day 3.

The sixteen teams participating in CORSAIR DreamHack Masters are expected to be announced as we approach the event date. We will update when we learn more.

Meanwhile, DreamHack Dallas will welcome back a variety of esports titles including its Fighting Game Championships. While the lineup has yet to be announced, tickets will be made available on December 12, 2018. Prices will rise as the event date draws near.

As with previous events, tickets must be purchased via DreamHack’s official website. Each will cover access to a different option, such as BYOC (bringing your own controller), an event pass or a day pass.

Registration for FGC titles will be accommodated via SmashGG. Entrants must complete their registration at both pages in order to participate.

As part of the ultimate DreamHack experience, DreamHack Dallas will celebrate electronic entertainment through various means other than gaming. Attendants can look forward to browsing through artist alleys, enjoying live concerts, meeting with cosplayers, witness speedrunners in action, and so on!
