#PUBG releases for #PlayStation4 on December 7, 2018
Looks like chicken dinners are about to be served to the PlayStation enthusiasts this holiday season!
After being limited to the Xbox One and PC platforms, PubG is joining the list of games that will make another expansion to a console platform, specifically the PlayStation 4. A launch trailer that surfaced today confirms that PlayStation fans will join the fight on December 7, 2018 (same release date as Smash Ultimate).
The first game recently reported to have done this is Brawlhalla, which released for the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch earlier this month after being previously confined to PC and PlayStation 4.
Developed by PubG Corporation, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, or PubG for short, is a battle royale game where up to hundred players drop into each match by parachute to partake in a fight for survival. You’ll explore expansive maps in an effort to collect weapons and defeat your opponents, whilst ensuring that you don’t get eliminated yourself.
Since its release last year, PubG has quickly garnered a following in the esports realm. In fact, PubG Corporation is preparing to set a 2019 season of PubG events into motion, and these will lead up to the PubG 2019 Championships with a $2,000,000 prize pool on the line.
