Rayman comes to @Brawlhalla tomorrow amid an expansion to #XboxOne and #NintendoSwitch

Tomorrow marks another crossover between two different video game universes: Rayman and Brawlhalla!

Rayman, the limbless Champion of the Glade of Dreams, is finally being welcomed to Brawlhalla as a playable fighter. Following his reveal at Gamescom 2018, the character will be included along with a set of alternate skins and his own combat stats, which are as follows:

  • Strength - 5

  • Dexterity - 5

  • Defense - 6

  • Speed - 6

Furthermore, included with Rayman is an all new game mode for Brawlhalla called Kung Foot. Inspired by its original concept in Rayman Legends, players will attempt to kick the soccer ball past the opponent’s goal line as often as possible. As the ball takes damage, its speed increases with each hit. Up to eight players can compete in each session, be it against one another or in teams.

No gadgets are used in Kung Foot, but you can KO opponents that cross over your own goal line. Get ready for chaos outside the battlefield!

Rayman arrives in tomorrow’s patch for Brawlhalla, which also marks an expansive chapter in the game’s legacy. The game first released on Steam (PC) and existed for years as an exclusive, before that status was shattered by an expansion to the PlayStation 4 console while remaining a free-to-play title.

Along with Rayman’s release, Brawlhalla is expanding once again, this time to the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One consoles. The title will remain free to play (rejoice!), but to celebrate this occasion, Blue Mammoth Games will be offering welcome bundles to the newer additions to the Brawlhalla player base, starting with the Xbox One version. The first Bundle will come with in-game accessories: the Dark Age skin, Thumbs-Up Taunt and the Trident Weapon Skin. Similar bundles will roll out to the other platforms in the future.

As a longtime face of the PlayStation family since 1995, Rayman has touched the childhood of many gamers. Published by Ubisoft, his franchise has spawned forty-four games across various consoles. With Brawlhalla gaining traction as one of the most popular free-to-play titles, this crossover marks a historic occasion in the gaming industry, and it’s an occasion that fans everywhere are all too happy to acknowledge.
