New game #SAMURAISHODOWN set to release for multiple platforms in Q2 2019 + #KOFXV planned for 2020

Early this morning in South Korea, an IPO press conference was held by SNK Corporation at the 63 Building Cypress Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Presented by Kim Sun-kyun, vice president of SNK, the company provided an in-depth look into the course it has taken since its inception in 1978. Naturally, the spotlight was eventually shone upon its products, but what none expected to hear was news pertaining to not one, but two upcoming titles set to release near the end of the decade.

As many may remember from this article, SNK celebrated its 40th anniversary by releasing a teaser trailer for Samurai Shodown after a timer on their official site hit zero. The franchise had practically entered hibernation in 2009 with no follow-up titles in sight, but is now being celebrated for its climactic revival.

No exact release date was given, but SNK estimates that it will occur during the second quarter of 2019. Even better, it will release for multiple platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.

But that was far from the only revelation that came to light at the SNK conference. Apparently, King of Fighters may be looking at its next installation, KOF XV, in 2020.

No explicit details pertaining to either product were shared, but a series of screenshots pertaining to both games was shared via a post at We have copied and pasted them below for your convenience.
