.@NuckleDuDang will sponsor one player for #EVO2018

With EVO 2018 slightly less than four months away, NuckleDu is bringing some love to the fighting game community by extending an offer similar to one he made last year.

Before EVO 2017 rolled around, NuckleDu decided to sponsor a player outside of his current sponsor at the time (Team Liquid). That lucky player was a Japanese Chun-Li player named YamadaTaro, who'd become recognized for his Master rank he'd achieved online via commitment to his character.

For this year, NuckleDu is making another player's dream of attending EVO a reality once again. But the question is, who?

As you can see, the announcement was broken by NuckleDu last Friday, which means that a lucky player is going to be selected this week. If you feel it should be you, click the post above to go directly to NuckleDu's Twitter page and write out a response explaining why you should be selected to receive a trip to EVO. As Du clarifies, it doesn't matter if you want to attend EVO as a competitor or spectator, he'll choose anyone from either category!

After you've made your post, keep checking back at @NuckleDuDang to find out who will be sponsored for EVO 2018! As a reminder, EVO returns to the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on August 3-5 with a lineup of eight games, and you can register for the event right now at smash.gg/evo-2018!
