Release Date for #DRAGONBALLFighterZ on #NintendoSwitch confirmed to be September 27th in Japan
Last week, the news of Dragonball FighterZ making its way to the Nintendo Switch broke the surface at E3 2018.
At the time, no exact release date, other than this year, was given, but it now appears that we may have an early hint as to when it arrives.
According to ryokutya2089.com, a Japanese blog site highlighting content in the gaming industry, DBFZ makes its way over to Japan in September 27th. The game will come with two additional characters - Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta - along with lobby avatars for both characters. Add-on content such as the DLC fighters will likely require a separate purchase still.
As products have been known to carry different release dates between Japan and North America, it stands to reason that the Switch version of Dragonball FighterZ will impact North America shortly after its release in Japan, most likely within the span of a week.
Bandai Namco has yet to drop the official release date themselves, but as the previous "rumors" of DBFZ's journey to the Nintendo Switch have been proven to be true, it is incredibly likely that the release date given will be right on the mark as well. Regardless, we will be watching closely for updates.
