Grab your ticket to play #SmashBros for #NintendoSwitch at #E32018!
Going to E3 2018 next week and want a chance to play the new Super Smash Bros title on the Nintendo Switch?
If yes, you're going to want to scoop up your ticket here so you can get your opportunity to do just that at the Nintendo booth. But we suggest acting quickly, because tickets are limited and selling fast.
Registration will not be available on-site.
Players will be able to compete in one of two settings, which you may recognize from the online gameplay options available for Smash 4 on the Wii-U and 3DS. You can play for fun or competitively, but if you choose the latter, expect items to be disabled.
In addition, E3 will host the 2018 Super Smash Bros Invitational to showcase the new Smash title on the Switch. Up to eight seasoned competitors, four from Melee and four from Smash Wii-U, have been graciously invited to participate in an eight-man bracket in front of a lively audience and on stream. Those players are:
- Alliance Armada
- PG Plup
- C9 Mang0
- Echo Fox MKLeo
- Mr. R
- TSM ZeRo
So in addition to learning the game hands-on, you'll have an ample opportunity to take notes from Smash veterans! Don't let this chance pass you by while you are at E3!
The invitational itself will run alongside the Splatoon 2 World Championships at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, CA on June 12th. Consider following @NintendoVS on Twitter and www.e3nintendo.com to stay updated on all esports-related news regarding Nintendo titles this year.
