Closed Beta for @RealmRoyale comes to Playstation 4 and Xbox One next week

Fantasy meets technology.

Next week, a closed beta for the upcoming console versions of Realm Royale will hit the Playstation 4 and Xbox One!

Realm Royale was initially known as a game mode for Paladins called Paladins: Battlegrounds, and is now a spin-off of its sibling title. Developed by Hi-Rez Studios, Realm Royale is a third-person battle royale title that combines modern technology with settings inspired by fairy tales to create an entirely unique approach to the genre.

Like most battle royales, it features competitors battling inside a steadily shrinking arena. Player are grouped into teams of four against up to a hundred players, and up to five character classes are available to choose from: Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Engineer and Assassin. Any players who are attacked by opponents are transformed into a chicken, and if they take damage again, they are eliminated afterward. However, they can transform back into their normal state by surviving in chicken form for a short period of time.

An official release date for the console version of Realm Royale has yet to be disclosed.

The game is free to play right now on Steam, but for those who prefer consoles, they can look out for a closed beta on PS4 and Xbox One starting next week. Visit to sign up for the beta!
