Event Schedule, Commentary Team and Brackets for #EVO2018 are LIVE.

Evolution 2018 is just around the corner...a whole week away, as a matter of fact.

The event is set to occur this Friday to Sunday at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Up to eight games will share the spotlight this year, and six of those games will have well over a thousand participants in attendance. Five will be featured in the Sunday finals at Mandalay Bay's majestic arena, where up to over ten-thousand people can be seated.

It thrills us to announce that our very own @MisterAquaman, lead commentator for our Injustice 2 online series called War of the Gods, will be joining EVO's commentary team to share in our excitement for their Injustice 2 bracket, which is tied to Season 2 of the Injustice 2 Pro Series as a Premier Event!

In addition, followers of the NRS community can look forward to commentary from PG Kitana Prime, PND Ketchup and Mustard, and DarthArma!

Finally, the official brackets for Evolution 2018 have gone live on SmashGG. Be advised, however, that the EVO team is still taking feedback regarding the pools into account, so what you see here may not be final until we are but mere inches from entering this weekend.

This year's lineup will have the following amounts of players participating in each title:

- Dragonball FighterZ: 2,574 players
- Street Fighter V Arcade Edition: 2,494 players
- Tekken 7: 1,542 players
- Super Smash Bros. Melee: 1,354 players
- Super Smash Bros. Wii-U: 1,353 players
- Blazblue Cross Tag Battle: 1,181 players
- Guilty Gear XRD Revelator 2: 624 players
- Injustice 2: 361 players
