Android 17 is coming to #DBFZ as the final DLC character + new "Galactic Arena" stage on the way!

Ever since Android 17’s appearance as an assist character specifically assigned for Android 18’s use, players have clamored to see him become his own character.

With Goku and Vegeta, undoubtedly recognized as the lead characters for ArcSystem’s highly successful fighting game, having multiple forms of themselves that are all playable, a similar possibility for Android 17 did not seem out of the ordinary. And now, it is coming to pass.

Android 17 will be final DLC character that is included in the DBFZ FighterZ Pass! You can find a brief clip of his reveal trailer below.

In addition to Android 17, Cooler was also revealed after the conclusion of the DBFZ World Finals at Evolution 2018. Release dates for both characters have not been shared by Bandai Namco at this time, but one thing is for sure: given how their previous DLC characters have been released two at a time, it is obvious that Android 17 and Cooler will launch simultaneously in a future update.

Speaking of updates, one is scheduled to be released into the wild at the end of September to coincide with DBFZ’s transition to the Nintendo Switch (September 28th). A new stage will be included in this update, and it’s one that will definitely tickle your fancy if you are following the ongoing DBFZ World Tour.

The new stage is called Galactic Arena, which features a futuristic coliseum decorated by computer screens at the top. These screens will display both players’ profiles and, in some cases, the logo for the DBFZ World Tour itself!

If you’ve played the Capcom Pro Tour stages in Street Fighter V: Arcade Ediiton (Ring of Power, Ring of Pride and Ring of Destiny), you may find yourself drawing a comparison here. Take a look at the Galactic Arena via the images provided below!
