Cooler and Android 17 will release for #DBFZ on September 27th

As some have likely guessed by now, both Cooler and Android 17 will release simultaneously as the final two DLC characters for the first season of Dragonball FighterZ.

We say “first season” because with the incredible success this game has garnered, including tournament support via the DBFZ World Tour, it’s safe to assume that DBFZ will receive future seasons of content.

In any case, after a slight error with the release date, Bandai Namco quickly clarified that both characters will be made available…this Thursday, September 27th.

But apparently, some have gotten their hands on Android 17 early, as there now exists a video breakdown of the character’s gameplay. The creator of the video, seen below, goes on to describe Android 17 as “a mix-up monster.”

Owners of the FighterZ Pass will obtain instant access to both characters upon their release. Otherwise, they will need to be purchased separately. Furthermore, their release coincides with DBFZ’s inevitable journey to the Nintendo Switch, which occurs this Friday, September 28th. Switch owners can reserve their copies of the game at www.bandainamcoent.com.

For current owners of the game, expect an update to become available for download later this week.

With the release of Android 17 and Cooler, this completes the first wave of DLC content for Dragonball FighterZ. So while you prepare for their arrival, let’s turn our eyes towards the future: what other characters do you expect to be welcomed to the game in a second season?
