The #ARCRevo World Tour launches in London this weekend! Learn more about it here.

With the first stop in the ARCRevo World Tour coming up this weekend, we’d like to take a moment to highlight everything you’ll need to be aware of.

The ARCRevo World Tour, organized directly by ArcSystemWorks, was announced shortly after the conclusion of the Blazblue Cross Tag Battle finals at Evolution 2018. It spans a series of qualifiers that will occur around the entire globe, starting with Revolution 2018 at London (more on the event here). A total prize pool of up to $100,000 will be awarded throughout the season.

Naturally, the circuit focuses specifically on titles produced by ArcSystem themselves. In fact, up to three titles will be supported at each qualifier, and all will be played on the PlayStation 4 console. They are as follows:

  • BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle

  • BlazBlue Central Fiction

  • Guilty Gear XRD Revelator 2

In addition to cash prizes, ARCRevo World Points, or AWP or short, will be awarded to the Top 8 finalists of each qualifier. Players will be classed into four separate regions: North and Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Japan.

The following titles will be supported throughout the ARCRevo World Tour

The players holding the most points in each region will be welcomed to the ARCRevo World Tour Finals, which will take place in North America, specifically Los Angeles CA, in Fall 2019. The venue and exact schedule have yet to be decided, and it appears that the list of stops for the World Tour will receive updates as it progresses.

The complete list of stops for the ARCRevo World Tour can be found at www.arcsystemworks.jp.

Due to slight confusion pertaining to the points values for 6th and 8th place, ArcSystemWorks has released a statement acknowledging the predicament and plans to provide an update to their system in the near future. In the meantime, the points to be distributed at each qualifier are as follows:

  • 1st Place: 550 AWP

  • 2nd Place: 250 AWP

  • 3rd Place: 190 AWP

  • 4th Place: 160 AWP

  • 5th Place: 130 AWP

  • 6th Place: 115 AWP

  • 7th Place: 100 AWP

  • 8th Place: 70 AWP

All qualified finalists will be provided transportation to the ARCRevo World Tour finals by ArcSystemWorks! Furthermore, the winners of each of the supported games at Revolution 2018 will receive a fully paid trip to ARCRevo Japan 2018, which marks the next stop in the World Tour and takes place near the end of November.

We will be watching for more updates from ArcSystem regarding ARCRevo! To all aspiring competitors, we wish you the best of luck!
